Join us for this 50-minute, introductory class and we'll make starting Nia easier than you may think! In our first 15-minutes, we'll answer the questions "What is Nia, Why is it good for me? and How do I do it?
Then, you'll get a chance to enjoy Nia with a 25-minute easy-to-learn sampler Nia class . All those new to Nia will be eligible for a special offer of 3 classes for $20 ($42 value). In the Welcome to Nia class, you'll learn: Price: Free! However, you MUST preregister to attend!!! Signup below. 1 hour classic Nia with Lesley TInker, Certified Blue Belt Nia Instructor. All Nia experience levels welcome -- from first timers to raving fans. Experience the Nia difference for yourself! Whole-body conditioning that engages all parts of us -- body, mind, emotions, and spirit. From the first moment of stepping in and leaving distractions behind, we enter into an hour of music, movement, and magic. Magic, you say? Yes, magic -- a sensaton of cellular smiling from the inside out. Nia is low-impact, done barefoot* to music, and semi-choreographed. Each class has a focus, such as exploring dynamic ease, the joy of movement, or the sensations of flexibility, agility, mobility, strength, and stability. In each class, we start by setpping in and leaving distractions behind, we then warm up, get moving, cool down, move and play on the floor, and close by planting the seeds to take the Nia experience with us into our next activities. * Barefoot provides exquisite foot conditiong, which helps with balance amd mobility. However, we respect that barefoot may not be for everyone. Shoes are fine for those who need to wear them. Thin soled shoes are preferred for greater sensation of feet being in contact with the ground. Shoes are to be indoor-dedicated or soles clean. Monday May 12, 2008
