NiaDivas Fall Session #1 begins tonight!. Join Jill to kick off 7-weeks off of pleasure in the body with Nia. Jill will be featuring a new routine Zensation, a routine that features the 9 movement forms that make Nia a very special way to condition your body without taxing it.   In Zensation, you'll experience the subtle shifts in your physical body as you highlight one movement form per song.  Not sure what the 9 movement forms of Nia are...don't worry...experience them in your body first, then your mind can catch up. Best of all they are a beautiful balance to create strength, flexibility, ease, grace and sensory awareness.

Welcome to Nia! Join us for this 50-minute, introductory class and we'll make starting Nia easier than you may think! In our first 15-minutes, we'll answer the questions "What is Nia, Why is it good for me? and Can I do it?

Then, you'll get a chance to enjoy Nia with a 25-minute easy-to-learn sampler Nia class . In the Welcome to Nia class, you'll learn:

  • How to find more joy in moving, exercise and dancing.
  • The one thing in Nia that changed the face of the fitness industry forever and how to use it to effectively condition your body.
  • 3 simple ways to practice Nia that will help you relax through your first few classes.

In addition, a Medical Release form needs to be completed and signed before participating in the class.
